Gordon, Tom

was manager of the Zeno Mediation Systems research team at GMD, the German National Research Center for Information Technology. ZENO, their groupware for discourses on the Internet, supports planners, contractors, clients, concerned parties, consultants and facilitators in a range of discourses: participatory problem solving, consensus building, mediated conflict resolution and consulting. It has been used as part of a geographical mediation systems project, to help people in European regions and towns discuss alternative physical plans and 7 other EU research projects.

He now works for the Fraunhofer Institute in Berlin, where he maintains a weblog on Discourse Systems.
