Citizens' participation in decision-making

A value by which we may assess (e-)consultations.

  1. Examples:
    1. public participation in decision-making
    2. active citizenship
    3. If everyone who wants to speak is given a platform
    4. If there us any reason to believe that the consultee opinions will be listen too
    5. A belief that there one´s ideas could actually influence the outcome.
    6. There is a decission in stake and can be influenced by the consultation. It's not just 'marketing' to say... we asked.
    7. genuine attempt by government to improve the quality of citizen participation
    8. If the word consultation is not being used to mean one way communiucation
    9. I feel I didn´t lose my team (time?) participating on it.
